The whole journey lasts about 1–1.5 hours, with no thrilling dam-drop sections. Instead, the raft gently floats along the river in tune with riverside light shows, creating a “night view from the water” atmosphere.

The night bamboo raft drifts along the banks of the Yulong River. In some sections, decorative lights, lamplit bridges, and neon signs from riverside homestays and small inns are used, reflecting the whole night scene on the water surface. The lighting is soft, creating a romantic and peaceful overall mood.

Each bamboo raft is about 6–7 meters long, able to accommodate up to 8 guests sitting side by side or facing each other. The raft is fitted with cushions, offering ample space for chatting as you drift and for taking photos. The boatman stands at the rear, controlling the current and direction with his pole and gently adjusting at bends or slower sections; there is no violent shaking, and the ride stays stable and safe.
