Head to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a historic fortress built in 1176 AD to defend the city from Crusaders. Explore the citadel and admire the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known for its impressive Ottoman-style architecture.

Next, visit the Pyramids of Giza, the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World. Learn about the three main pyramids, built as tombs for pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Marvel at the Great Pyramid, originally 146 meters high and built from about 2.3 million stone blocks. See the mysterious Great Sphinx of Giza, with the body of a lion and the head of a king, believed to represent Khafre.

After exploring the pyramids, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, designed to be the largest archaeological museum in the world.
