In the heart of a former 1937 aircraft hangar, freely explore the museum and immerse yourself in the daily life of World War II pilots through our collections and aircraft.
In a former aircraft hangar built in 1937 by the French and then requisitioned by the Germans during World War II, discover the D-Day Wings Museum and immerse yourself in the history of military aviation. This iconic place invites you to relive the events that marked the Normandy Landings and the Allied air operations that contributed to the liberation of France.

Your ticket includes a self-guided tour of the museum. Along the way, explore a rich collection of period artifacts, uniforms, aircraft engines, photographs, and numerous relics related to the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy. Through immersive scenography and explanatory panels, discover the decisive role played by aviation during World War II.

The visit is self-guided and lasts approximately 1 hour. Take time to admire the collections, observe the aircraft on display, and soak up the history of these women and men who helped bring peace back.

But the experience doesn't stop there. For visitors who want to go even further, the museum offers exclusive experiences that allow you to board several iconic aircraft. Accompanied by one of our passionate live guides, learn about their history and how they work, and take a seat in period cockpits.

Access to our aircraft is subject to age, height, and weight restrictions to ensure the safety of visitors and the preservation of our collection. Check the description sheet for each aircraft before booking.

Only the C-45 is accessible to children under 7 years old, accompanied by an adult.

Eight aircraft are available for exploration. Discover the historic cockpit of a Spitfire, as well as our formerly flying replica of the Focke-Wulf 190, and see the evolution of military aviation aboard the Mirage 5. You can also board the famous C-47 Dakota, the C-45 Beechcraft, or the Messerschmitt 208. Finally, enjoy a unique experience by taking a seat in an authentic B-17 ventral turret and handling a real Bofors anti-aircraft gun.

Two passes are available to fully enjoy these experiences.

The Discovery Pass provides access to four unmissable experiences: the cockpit of the Spitfire, the interior of the C-47 Dakota, the ventral turret of the B-17, and operating the Bofors anti-aircraft gun.

The Fighter Pass is for enthusiasts or those who are simply curious about fighter aviation. It offers access to the cockpit of the Spitfire, our replica of the Focke-Wulf 190, and the Mirage 5!

You will be accompanied on all boardings by a live guide, who will share with you the history, features and anecdotes of each aircraft to give you an immersive experience.
