Departing from Aix-en-Provence at 8:00 a.m., this day trip takes you on a discovery of the most beautiful villages in the Luberon, amidst natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and Provencal traditions.

First, you will arrive in Gordes around 9:15 a.m., a village ranked among the most beautiful in France. Perched on its rocky outcrop, Gordes offers an exceptional panorama and authentic charm. You will have approximately one hour to stroll through its cobblestone alleys and admire its stone houses.

The morning continues with a visit to the Village des Bories, a unique site made up of old dry-stone huts that bear witness to Provençal rural expertise.

Next, you will head to Sénanque Abbey, nestled in a lush green setting. This iconic site, still inhabited by monks, captivates visitors with its serenity and Cistercian architecture.

At the end of the morning, you will drive to Roussillon, a village famous for its cliffs and ochre-colored houses. After a walk through the village, you will enjoy lunch on site in a typically Provençal atmosphere.

The afternoon continues with a visit to the Ocher Ecomuseum, which traces the history of the exploitation of this natural pigment, followed by a walk along the Ocher Trail, which offers spectacular landscapes in vibrant colors.

At the end of the day, you will arrive in Lourmarin, a charming Provençal village renowned for its art de vivre and its lively streets.

The return journey to Aix-en-Provence will take you along a scenic route, with plenty of ideal viewpoints to capture the beauty of the Luberon landscape.
