From Taormina to Mount Etna: Among Craters, Lava Caves, and Sicilian Flavors

Starting from Taormina, we will reach the slopes of Mount Etna together, passing through ever-changing landscapes, including forests, lava flows, and views that open up onto the Sicilian coast. Along the way, we will make a few stops at the most picturesque points to learn about the history of the volcano, its most recent eruptions, and the deep bond it has with the surrounding area.

Once we reach an altitude of 2,000 meters, we will explore ancient extinct craters and the unique scenery created by volcanic activity. Here you can choose whether to: --continue with a pleasant guided walk along the trails of the Parco dell'Etna
or
- with the High Altitude option (not included in the price and available for purchase directly on site), go as far as the summit areas accompanied by licensed mountain guides.

The adventure will continue inside a lava slide cave, a fascinating place carved out by the force of lava during eruptions. With a helmet and a flashlight, you will enter a surprising environment that tells the story of Mount Etna's most authentic nature up close.

Before heading back, we'll stop at a local business for a food tasting of typical local products.
You'll have the opportunity to sample honey, Etna wines, extra-virgin olive oil and other Sicilian specialties, ending the day among the authentic flavors of a land that is unique in the world.
