From Nairobi: 8-Day Kenya full package safari

Embark on a 8-day safari from Nairobi to the Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara Game Reserve. See the big five and other animals on game drives.

Day 1
On arrival at the airport, meet your safari guide who will transfer you to Nairobi Trademark Hotel for your overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
Drive to Samburu Game Reserve, cross the equator line. Stop for a short break at the equator, and later drive down to Isiolo town and to Samburu Game Reserve. After clearance at the gate, drive on and arrive at the Samburu Sopa Lodge for lunch.

After checking in, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the rare animals of Samburu National Reserve, like the Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, oryx, as well as the big herds of elephants, lions, leopards, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight overlooking the water hole.

Day 3
Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of the cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, relax by the pool or visit the Samburu tribesmen in their village.

After lunch at the lodge, enjoy another game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the main source of water for the animals and the Samburu people. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop for lunch at the Thomson’s Falls Lodge, and then take a short stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Nakuru National Park in the evening for an afternoon game drive in search of the white rhinos, the tree-climbing lions, and other animals.

Check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of the tree-climbing lions, leopards, and other animals. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for lunch.

After lunch, relax and later take a boat ride tour around the lake. Enjoy a nature walk amongst animals like zebra, waterbuck, impalas, giraffes, and more. Return to the lodge for a relaxing evening before dinner and overnight.

Day 6
After breakfast, check out and drive to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve through the town of Narok. Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge around mid-day. After checking in, enjoy lunch. Relax and later in the afternoon, drive deep into the savannah in search of the big five, including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and elephants.

Return to the lodge after sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
After breakfast, spend the whole day in the park driving in different territories. The game drive around the park will take you to the famous Mara River for hippos and crocodiles. Break for lunch under an acacia tree. Continue with the safari as you head back to the lodge in the evening.

After dinner and an overnight stay, drive to Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley for lunch in Nairobi city before being dropped off at the airport for your flight.
