Embark on an unforgettable 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Admire a desert sunrise and sunset, discover the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, explore the High Atlas Mountains, and more. Choose between a private or shared tour with standard or luxury camping.
Begin the tour with pickup at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Then, drive toward the stunning Atlas Mountains, taking in the picturesque scenery as you go.
Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been a filming location for many a Hollywood movie, and explore the city of Ouarzazate. Spend the night at a hotel in Kelaat Mgouna - Boumaln Dades.
On the second day, experience the breathtaking Todra Gorges and immerse yourself in the magical Sahara Desert. Have a go at sandboarding (if available), enjoy a camel ride to witness the mesmerizing sunset, and spend the night in a traditional Berber desert camp in Erg Chebbi.
On the final day, marvel at the beautiful desert sunrise on a camel ride before returning to Marrakech for drop-off at your hotel or riad.

Pickup Confirmation: You will receive your exact pickup time and location via WhatsApp and GetYourGuide chat the evening before your tour (between 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM). Please check your messages before contacting support.
Luggage: Large suitcases stay securely in the vehicle during the tour. You must pack a small backpack for the night in the desert, as camels cannot carry large luggage.
Dietary Requirements: Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free meals are available. You do not need to email us; simply inform your driver on the first morning of the tour.
Winter Heating (Nov–Feb): Desert nights are cold (0°C–5°C). Please note that Standard Tents do NOT have heating (warm blankets are provided). Luxury Tents are equipped with heating.
Communication: A working mobile number with WhatsApp is required for coordination.
Cash: Please bring cash (EUR or MAD) for lunches (approx. €10–13/meal), drinks, and tips, as ATMs are not available in the desert.
