These wrecks, transformed into artificial reefs, once served as US Navy vessels employed as minesweepers during World War II. Deliberately sunk, they now stand as vibrant artificial reefs, contributing to the regeneration of marine life along the coast of Cancun, Mexico.
For the first dive, depending on weather conditions, participants can choose between the C-55 or C-58 wrecks. The second dive takes place in Punta Cancun Reef, offering an exhilarating drift diving experience.
Dive among Punta Cancun’s sunken ships for a captivating glimpse into maritime history. Teeming with marine life and vibrant coral growth, these wrecks offer an unforgettable adventure for enthusiasts seeking both excitement and immersion in maritime heritage.
