5-Days Central Mongolia Winter/Summer Tour

Day 1: Journey to Ogii Lake
Depart from Ulaanbaatar in the morning 07.30a.m and drive toward Ogii Lake, a beautiful frozen lake in Arkhangai Province. On the way, stop to visit the ruins of Khairkhan Bukh Fortress and enjoy the peaceful winter scenery.
Stay in a heated winter tent on the lake, with a cozy stove inside. Outdoor dinner will be prepared on the stove inside the tent, right on the ice of Ogii Lake. After dinner, transfer to Kharkhorin town for an overnight stay in ger camp with shower and electric.

Day 2: Explore Kharkhorin and Relax at Tsenkher Hot Springs
In the morning, explore Kharkhorin (Karakorum) – the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire – and visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist sites. After lunch, drive to the Tsenkher Hot Springs in Arkhangai Province. Enjoy bathing in the natural hot springs surrounded by snow-covered hills. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse near the springs.

Day 3: Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes and Camel Riding
After breakfast, return toward Kharkhorin for lunch, then continue to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a unique area where desert, steppe, and mountain landscapes meet. Enjoy a camel riding experience and visit a nomadic herder family, where you will stay overnight in a traditional ger (yurt). No electric and no shower.

Day 4: Horseback Riding and Visit Khustai National Park
After breakfast, drive to Khustai National Park to see the Przewalski’s wild horses (Takhi) in their natural habitat. In the evening, return to Ulaanbaatar and stay overnight at Central Mongolia Tour Guesthouse. Guesthouse have a men and women separate clean room.

Day 5: From UB city to Chinggis Khan Statue Complex drive around 1 hour. Entire to Chinggis Khan Statue Complex: Towering over the Mongolian steppe, the Chinggis Khan Statue Complex is a striking sight. The 40-meter-tall statue of the legendary warrior stands atop a three-story platform, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Ascend the platform via a serpentine walkway, passing through a museum chronicling Genghis Khan's life and legacy. Before entire the national park have a Mongolian lunch in the Ger/Yurt around 12.30am. Visit Terelj National Park: Terelj National Park is a sanctuary of towering mountains, verdant forests, and crystal-clear rivers. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit for nature lovers and adventurers alike. Visit Aryabal Temple: A Buddhist sanctuary. Located on a picturesque hillside in Terelj National Park, the Aryabal Temple offers tranquility amidst the natural beauty. This small monastery houses a statue of the Buddha, believed to bring good fortune and peace. After we will going back to UB city around 15.00.
