A dive into Maputo's art scene, from recycled metal to contemporary painting, with lunch in the heart of the studio
The Núcleo de Arte is much more than a studio; it is the beating heart of creativity in Maputo.

Here you will find everything from sculptures made with deactivated weapons from the civil war (part of the historic project "Transforming Weapons into Hoes") to contemporary paintings by some of Mozambique's most talented artists, all working in full view of the public in the same collective space.

Led by Yolanda, an accredited tour guide in Mozambique, this experience combines art, history, and local cuisine in a single morning or afternoon. You will talk directly with artists about the creative process, tour the sculpture and painting studios, and finish with a genuinely Mozambican lunch in the restaurant of the Núcleo de Arte itself, surrounded by the works you have just seen.
