Amsterdam: Moco Museum Amsterdam Entry Ticket

Discover modern, contemporary, and street art at Moco Museum Amsterdam. Explore bold works, digital installations, and immersive spaces inside the historic Villa Alsberg in the heart of Museumplein
Experience Amsterdam’s contemporary creative side with a visit to Moco Museum, an independent museum dedicated to making modern and contemporary art accessible to a broad audience.

Located on Museumplein, Moco Amsterdam is housed inside the historic Villa Alsberg. Behind the building’s elegant exterior, you’ll discover a colorful and unconventional world filled with modern art, street culture, digital creativity, and immersive installations.

Explore exhibitions that bring together internationally recognized names and innovative creative voices. Depending on the exhibitions available during your visit, you may encounter works associated with influential artists such as Banksy, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, KAWS, and others.

Move through intimate galleries filled with artworks that are playful, provocative, and often connected to contemporary society. Discover pieces exploring themes such as identity, freedom, consumerism, popular culture, inequality, and social change.

The experience goes beyond traditional paintings and sculptures. Enter atmospheric spaces where light, reflections, movement, and digital technology become part of the artwork itself. These immersive environments invite you to experience art from different perspectives rather than simply observing it from a distance.

The setting adds another dimension to your visit. Contemporary works and experimental installations create a striking contrast with the historic character of Villa Alsberg, giving each room its own atmosphere.

Take your time as you explore the museum independently. Stop at the works that catch your attention, discover unexpected details, and capture photos in some of Moco’s most visually impressive spaces.

Whether you regularly visit galleries or simply want to experience something different from Amsterdam’s traditional museums, Moco offers an approachable introduction to contemporary art and visual culture.

Situated in the Museum Quarter, the museum can easily be combined with other attractions in the area. Come for the recognizable artists and bold imagery, discover immersive digital worlds along the way, and leave with a fresh perspective on how art can challenge ideas and reflect the world around us
