Under the strict – and guaranteed not voluntary – guidance of Senior Sergeant Wichtig, allegedly the last existing section representative of the German Democratic Mountain Republic, plain language is spoken.

Because here the rule is: If you laugh, you've almost confessed. With a sharp eye, dry humor, and a good dose of East German nostalgia, the show takes you through bizarre memories, absurd rules, and the big and small peculiarities of everyday life in the GDR.
