Begin with a tour of Nizwa Fort, one of the country’s most famous landmarks, known for its huge circular tower and strategic history. Continue to Nizwa Souq, a vibrant market where locals trade silver jewelry, spices, pottery, and fresh dates.
After a traditional Omani lunch, head to Al Hamra Old Village, home to some of Oman’s best-preserved mudbrick houses. Walk through the narrow alleys and visit Bait Al Safah Museum, where local women demonstrate traditional crafts like Omani coffee preparation, bread making, and weaving.
