Discover the Amazon aboard the Barco Aruã, sailing on the Tapajós and Arapiuns Rivers
Day 1 - Arrival at the Santarém Airport, transport to the river terminal for boarding.

- We will start sailing towards the Jari Canal - Amazon River!
The Canal do Jari community offers tours (optional) to visit the community, hikes, and canoe trips
canoe tours (BRL 30.00 per person), fee paid directly to the community.
Navigation along the Tapajós River to the transparent waters of the Arapiuns River, where the boat will spend the night, near
near Icuxi Beach.
Day 2 – Arapiuns River - Icuxi and Ponta Grande
We will wake up at Icuxi Beach on the Arapiuns River.
- Breakfast on the boat
- Lunch will be served on the boat or on the beach.
- Dinner on the beach at Ponta Grande.
Day 3 - Arapiuns River - Coroca Community
- Breakfast on the boat, free time to visit the community of
Coroca.
- Upon arriving at the Coroca Community, we will visit the Amazonian turtle farm
of Amazonian turtles and the community's Meliponario, where they produce honey from a stingless bee from the region, as well as the life
of these traditional communities of the Amazon. Visit to the
store.

Lunch will be served on the boat.
- Rest of the day at leisure. In the afternoon, sail towards FLONA, overnight stay.
- Dinner on the boat
Day 4 - Tapajós River - Flona
- Breakfast on the boat.
- After breakfast, visit the Jamaraquá Community to go on a hike in the Tapajós National Forest
of Tapajós – FLONA (Optional tour)
We will visit the communities that offer optional tours, hikes lasting approximately 4 hours into the forest. Our goal is to reach the gigantic, centuries-old
Sumaúma tree. On this tour, we learn about the use of natural resources by the forest peoples who
harvest manioc flour and produce eco-friendly leather.
The Sumaúma Vovozona trail is a 15 km trail that leads to the famous "Vovó Sumaúma" in the community of
Maguari.
The Piquiá or Tenda Jamaraquá trail is 12 km long. It is a trail that allows you to get to know the Jamaraquá FLONA,
Jamaraquá, including a century-old samaúma and a stream.
- Lunch Cruise;
- Rest of the day free to enjoy the beach.
- Late afternoon sailing towards Alter do Chão
- Dinner on the boat.

Hike guide fee: BRL 200.00 (Up to 5 people) and
Canoe tour: BRL 50.00 (up to 5 people)
Day 5 - Alter do Chão - Disembarkment
- Breakfast on the boat.
- Free day to enjoy Ponta do Muretá beach.
Lunch will be served on the boat or on the beach.
In the afternoon, we will sail to Ponta do Cururu Beach.
- The boat heads to Alter do Chão, whose full name is Vila Balneária de Alter do Chão (Ilha do Amor).
- Lunch and dinner on the boat depending on flight times.
