Beskrivning
Discover the African wilderness on a guided horseback safari from Johannesburg. Ride through a private game reserve, enjoy close encounters with wildlife, and learn about the local ecosystem.
Leave the city behind and experience the African bush on horseback. Ride with experienced guides through a private game reserve, enjoying close encounters with plains wildlife while taking in beautiful landscapes in a peaceful and unforgettable setting.
After convenient pickup from selected areas in Johannesburg, travel to a beautiful private game reserve where your adventure begins. Upon arrival, meet your experienced riding guide, receive a comprehensive safety briefing, and be matched with a suitable horse according to your riding experience.
Set off on a leisurely horseback ride through the reserve, following scenic trails across open grasslands and bushveld. Riding on horseback allows you to experience nature quietly, offering an authentic and immersive safari unlike traditional vehicle game drives.
Along the way, keep an eye out for a variety of free-roaming wildlife, which may include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelope species, ostriches, and many bird species. Because animals are accustomed to horses, they often remain relaxed, allowing for memorable wildlife viewing and excellent photography opportunities.
Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into the local ecosystem, animal behaviour, and the unique flora of the South African bushveld throughout the ride.
Whether you are an experienced rider or trying horseback riding for the first time, this experience offers a perfect combination of adventure, nature, and relaxation.
