Embark on an unforgettable 2-day journey into the heart of Tunisia’s Sahara. Explore El Jem’s impressive Roman amphitheater and Matmata’s unique underground homes before reaching Douz, the gateway to the Sahara. Enjoy optional camel rides or a quad bike adventure among the dunes, followed by a visit to a local date shop. Cross the spectacular Chott el Djerid salt lake and continue to Tozeur, where a 4x4 jeep takes you to the stunning Chibika Oasis and Mos Espa, the iconic Star Wars filming location. Back in Tozeur, enjoy free time in the city or choose an optional horse carriage ride. On the return journey, stop at a souvenir and carpet shop in Kairouan, where you can admire the Great Mosque from the shop’s terrace before returning to your hotel.
