Begin your evening with a walk through a scale model of the solar system as twilight settles in, setting the stage for a night of celestial discovery. Settle into your own Yogibo lounger, designed for comfort and perfect for gazing skyward, as your astronomer guide introduces you to the constellations, planets, and galaxies overhead.
Throughout the two-hour program, your guide will use high-powered laser pointers and state-of-the-art telescopes to reveal the secrets of the night sky. Learn to identify seasonal constellations, spot planets, and hear stories of ancient civilizations and Greek mythology woven into the stars. Depending on the night, you might catch glimpses of the International Space Station, Starlink satellites, Vandenberg rocket launches or shooting stars overhead.
Enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, or tea to keep warm, and make use of astro-binoculars and blankets provided for your comfort. The telescopes are pre-programmed for easy use, allowing you to see vibrant nebulae, spiral arms in galaxies, star clusters, the rings of Saturn, Jupiter’s surface and the craters of the moon in stunning detail. The experience concludes back at the meeting point, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the universe and memories of a night spent under one of the world’s clearest skies.
