The intense blue of the sea, the light bathing the coast, and the pink, red, and orange hues of the granite create an exceptional tableau.
To get there, you'll drive through stunning gorges and forests.
It’s a 3-hour drive with many twists and turns, but the route is well worth it, offering a true spectacle! You'll traverse the Scala di Santa Regina, a narrow gorge with Corsica's largest river, the Golu, below. Next, you'll arrive in Niolu, the mythical land of shepherds and the highest mountains in Corsica. Then, you'll pass through the forests of endemic laricio pines in Valdu Niellu and Aitone. Finally, you'll cross the Spelonca gorges to reach the Gulf of Porto and head towards the Calanche of Piana. There, in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site, ranked among the 167 most beautiful natural sites in the world, you'll admire the natural erosion of these pink-red granite porphyroid rocks as you enjoy a picnic and stroll through the Calanche. Afterward, you can opt for an additional boat tour in the Gulf of Porto, payable on-site, offering a chance to discover the coastal wonders from a different perspective. On the return journey, we'll make several stops for photos of rivers, bridges, or Corsican mountains. Don’t forget to greet the many farm animals you’ll encounter along the way, such as cows, goats, and pigs, adding an authentic touch to this unique experience.
