You'll meet Gertrud the Younger, the last Brunonin, who was not only a noblewoman but also a monastery founder. But St. Aegidien is more than just the Middle Ages: We'll tell you about Louis Spohr, the world-famous composer who took his first musical steps here. And about Ephraim Lessing, the great writer and enlightener, who pondered tolerance, reason, and humanity in the immediate vicinity.
