Caral, the oldest cradle of America, flourished 5000 years ago, parallel to Mesopotamia and Egypt. This archaeological site, one of the most amazing in Peru, is a unique destination from Lima.
At 6:30 a.m. we begin our adventure to Caral, the oldest city in America, where an expert tour guide and driver will take you on a comfortable 4-hour trip. During the tour, we will make a brief stop around 8:30 a.m. to rest and buy some snacks.
At 10:30 a.m. we will arrive at the archaeological site, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. There, you will be able to explore the majestic pyramids, complex canal systems and ceremonial plazas, witnesses of a civilization that flourished more than 5,000 years ago. Caral, a fascinating enigma, reveals temples, sunken plazas and terraced pyramids that are astounding for their antiquity. The most striking thing is that there is no evidence of war, only art, culture and a deep connection with humanity.
At 1:00 p.m. we finish the tour and return to Lima, with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant (lunch not included, price about S/.35 soles). You will be back at your hotel around 6:30 p.m. A unique archaeological experience full of history!

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, bring water and don't forget an extra battery for your camera.
All our prices include pick up and return to your hotel only when it is located in: Miraflores, San Isidro, San Miguel, Barranco and downtown Lima. Outside these places you will have to pay a small fee for pick up and drop off.
