Huangluo Yao Village，renowned as the "World's Longest Hair Village" for its women who keep incredibly long, jet-black hair. Ping'an Rice Terraces, feature breathtaking ribbons of cascading fields.
The Longji Rice Terraces climb the mountainside in sweeping steps, built and maintained by the Zhuang and Yao over hundreds of years. Among them sits Huangluo Yao Village, where the local women are known for their incredibly long hair — they've kept that tradition alive while farming the very same slopes.

We will start from Guilin, it takes about 2 hours from Guilin to Longji rice terraces

10:30-11:00 Huang Luoyao Village
Visit Huang Luoyao Village, learn about the local culture, customs,architecture styles of the ethnic minorities

11:30-14:30 PingAn Rice Terraces
Explore the rice terraced fields, hike along the stone paths, breathe in the fresh air, admire the magnificent natural terraces. At this moment, relax and be at ease.
Note: The lunch time is flexible (about 1 hour)

14:30-17:00 Back to Guilin
we will departure the PingAn rice terraces and return to Guilin. about 5 pm, we will get to you hotel or another place in Guilin

♦️The main traditional festivals of Longjie Terraces
The Third March Long Hair Festival (the third day of the third lunar month): Unique to the Red Yao people, centered in Huangluo Yao Village, including adult initiation rituals, collective hair-drawing ceremony, singing and dancing, and a bonfire party, symbolizing longevity, wealth, and socializing for marriage.

The Farming Ceremony Festival (after the Qingming Festival/Grain Rain, in early May of the Gregorian calendar): Dominated by the Zhuang people (ancient Zhuang villages), featuring rituals to honor the land god, digging canals to release water, plowing demonstrations, and climbing ladder competitions, praying for good weather and abundant harvest.

The Sun-Drying Clothes Festival (the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, in the middle to late July of the Gregorian calendar): The Red Yao people's second-largest festival after the Spring Festival. It takes place in Dazhai Village.
