This tour is the perfect way to experience Albania’s wine culture and historical treasures in one day. We will pick you up at your hotel in Tirana. This full-day tour starts with a scenic drive from Tirana to the heart of central Albania’s vineyards, followed by a visit to the ancient city of Durres. As we get closer to the winery you will notice the beautiful countryside of central Albania, where rolling hills and expansive vineyards reflect the region’s agricultural richness.

Our first stop will be one of Albania's finest wineries, located on the top of the hills, next to a lake. The vineyards offer one of the most unique landscapes of Albania. The vicinity to the Mediterranean (Adriatic) Sea combined with the hilly landscape and blessed by sunshine make this land a privileged place for the cultivation of diverse grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranilo, Shesh i Zi and Shesh I Bardhe. The tour continues through the wine cellar, where we will learn more about the traditional techniques used in crafting the wines. The highlight of the visit is, of course, the wine tasting. We will sample a selection of fine wines, carefully paired with light snacks or local delicacies.

Following the vineyard visit, we will continue our journey towards one of Albania’s oldest cities, Durres. During our visit we will pass by the amphitheater, the Roman ruins and the Venetian Tower. We will continue our tour towards the promenade to enjoy a coffee while admiring the endless sea views.

After this amazing experience through vineyards, local wines, culture and history, we will drive back to the bustling capital of Albania, Tirana. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, this experience will leave you with lasting memories.
