There's only one 1.5 hour jet ski tour in Cairns, and this is it. No other operator on this coastline runs anything close to this long.

You'll meet at the Jetski Cairns desk inside the Pier Shopping Centre, opposite the marina, for gear fitting and a safety briefing. No licence or prior experience needed, so there's nothing to arrange before you arrive. Your guide is a Cairns local holding a Coxswain Grade 3 licence, PWC and marine licence, and first aid certification.

From the marina you'll cruise out through Cairns Harbour, the Esplanade sliding past on one side, before the water opens up and you head north along the coastline, past Holloways Beach and Yorkeys Knob. The creeks give way to open water as the run continues up to Palm Cove, where you'll loop around the islands near Double Island. On a clear day, the reef lies visible beneath you, a rare vantage point most visitors never get close to.

You're riding a Sea-Doo jet ski fitted with Bluetooth speakers, capped at 70 km/h. Out past the sheltered inlet, wind and swell shape the ride more than on the shorter tour. If conditions turn, you'll usually be offered the full 1.5 hours through the sheltered inlet instead, so the experience continues regardless of the weather.

There's no swimming stop on this tour. You'll return via the dry ramp, where a team member helps you off the water.
