The well-explored trail is mostly paved with stones, ensuring a smooth yet adventurous journey. As you hike, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views of terraced rice paddies and lush greenery. Along the way, you’ll encounter local villagers, mostly from ethnic minority groups, who have lived in harmony with this land for centuries. Their traditional wooden houses and daily routines offer a fascinating glimpse into their unique way of life.

Midday: Exploring Ethnic Villages and Scenic Landscapes

As you continue your hike, you’ll pass through several ethnic minority villages, each offering its own charm and cultural significance. After approximately 4-5 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at Dazhai Village, the endpoint of your trek. Here, you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved lunch (at your own expense) before meeting your private driver for the return journey to your hotel. If you’re staying in Yangshuo, private transport can be arranged for an additional fee.
