With great attention to detail, the historic mine production rooms in Stein near Nuremberg have been transformed into a testimony to exciting industrial history. The special features of lead mine production in the 19th and 20th centuries are brought to life on two floors. The building on the west bank of the Rednitz dating from 1848 is a listed building and forms a nested ensemble of levels and rooms from different eras.
