A day with a guide to interpret the landscape: the Saint-Moirans Gorge, the village and vineyards of Saillans, and a meeting with a producer or artisan.
Here, every landscape tells a story: that of an ever-changing Earth, shaped by time and by living things. Meet at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. departure at the entrance to the Saint-Moirans Gorges (D776, Route de Chastel-Arnaud, near Saillans). 10:00 a.m.: Walk in the Saint-Moirans Gorges, where the guide will help you interpret the rocks, folds and erosion that have shaped the valley. 12:00 p.m.: Lunch in Saillans (meal at each person's own expense). 2:00 p.m.: Explore the village and its vineyards, learning about local history, geology and terroir. 4:00 p.m.: Meet a producer or artisan from the Diois region to round off the day with a focus on local expertise. A day suitable for everyone, in a small group (up to 7 people), with a guide passionate about geology and nature. Wear good walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring water.
