Moremi & Khwai: Safari with game drives & boat trip

Embark on a 5 day safari from the wildlife haven of Moremi Game Reserve to the stunning Khwai Concession, game viewing by day, camping by night, for an unforgettable mobile safari experience.
Day 1: Maun to Moremi Game Reserve

It is very important to depart Maun early to Moremi Game Reserve. Photographic opportunities and spectacular sightings are great in the morning and late in the afternoon. This game reserve is well renowned for its diverse ecosystems, which provide an amazing diversity of fauna and flora.

Day 2: Moremi Game Reserve

Here we will go on a boat cruise and explore the exclusive portion of Xakanaxa Lagoon in the Moremi area. The channels are lined with water reeds (phragmites australis), grasses, and some aquatic vegetation that filters the water here. A picnic lunch will be served after the boat cruise. Late in the afternoon we will enjoy a game drive through this beautiful wildlife-rich area before heading back to camp.

Day 3-4: Khwai Concession

On both days we will head out for an early morning game drive, followed by an afternoon game drive. The area used to be a hunting concession but is now actively managed as a conservation area. Sightings in this area include herds of Elephant, Red Lechwe, Impala and buffalo. The biodiversity of the Khwai Concession is so remarkable.

Day 5: Khwai Concession to Maun

Early in the morning we will travel to Maun International Airport to catch the flight to your next destination.
