Discover the immense beauty and wildlife of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve on this 3-day trip from Maun. Spot native wildlife such as wildebeest and giraffes and even see the white-backed vulture.
The team will head out for an evening game drive & sunset Viewing
The days consisits of the following: Morning waterhole drives, Afternoon game spotting drives & sunset wind downs
During and shortly after good summer rains (September to January), the flat grasslands of the reserve’s northern reaches teem with wildlife, which gather at the best grazing areas. These include springbok and gemsbok, as well as wildebeest, hartebeest, eland and giraffe.
CKGR boasts an amazing variety of birds, believe: Secretary bird, Kori Bustard and Ostrich are the most prominent of the species to be spotted, with good chances of seeing Lapped-faced Vulture and White-backed Vulture too.
