Start at Pedra da Gávea Base: We’ll meet at the Tijuca National Park entrance and prepare for the hike, with a briefing about trail essentials and safety measures.
The Ascent: We’ll trek through lush Atlantic Forest vegetation, perfect for bird watching and spotting local wildlife. We'll make several stops to rest and enjoy
the views.
Carrasqueira Climb: This is the most technical section, where you'll engage in a short but exhilarating rock climb. Our expert guide will ensure your safety with proper climbing gear.
Pedra da Gávea Summit: After the challenge, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most spectacular views in Rio. There will be plenty of time for photos, relaxing, and snacking.
Descent:We’ll make our way back down, taking in the natural beauty one more time as we descend the trail.

Please note that the Pedra da Gávea hike is not suitable for beginners. It is highly recommended not to consume alcohol the day before the tour and to ensure you get a good night's sleep for optimal performance during the hike.
Our meeting point is Point da Meire, a convenient bar located near the entrance of the Tijuca National Park. This location is ideal for participants who may need to purchase snacks or drinks before the hike, as well as for those looking to use the restroom facilities. Arrive a little early to enjoy the atmosphere and prepare for an exciting adventure ahead!
