At 8:00AM, meet your English-speaking guide in the lobby of your Guangzhou hotel and proceed to Baiyun Mountain, known as the “First Show of Yangcheng” since ancient times. It consists of more than 30 peaks, with the main peak, Moxingling, at an altitude of 482 meters.
The peaks of Baiyun Mountain are covered with streams and rivers. Whenever the sky clears up after a rainy day or in late spring, the mountain is covered with white clouds, which is a marvelous sight, thus the name of Baiyun Mountain is derived from it.
Afterwards, visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, built in 1930. It is located on the former site of the Presidential Palace where Dr. Sun Yat-sen was inaugurated as the Very First President of the Republic of China.
