Discover with us the Carrara Marble Quarries so dear to Michelangelo, an adventure through dirt roads, climbs and descents, tunnels and galleries, to get an up-close look at working quarries.
Our tour lasts about two and a half hours, allowing a visit to the three mining basins Colonnata, Miseglia and Torano, entering several working quarries both open pit and tunnel.
Two daily departures, morning and afternoon
On request sunset excursion and visit to a sculpture studio.
A taste of the famous Colonnata lard is included in the tour.
Our four-legged friends are always welcome.
