At the heart of the park, marvel at the stunning Hermitage Palace, the king’s 18th-century hunting lodge perched elegantly atop the hill. Admire its stately charm and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Pass through the dramatic hills of Ulvedalene, created during the ice age as a tunnel valley. See the 43-meter hill “Djaevlebakke,” which creates a magical theatre backdrop for open-air theatre since 1910, where the Royal Danish Theatre staged the first performance in the scenic surroundings.
