From the monumental remains of the Romans to the largest wine barrel in the world, we combine moderate hiking with top-notch culinary delights and the region's most spectacular viewpoints. We will immerse ourselves in the heart of the German Wine Route, combining culture with physical activity.

Your day begins with a convenient pick-up at one of the meeting points in Heidelberg, Weinheim, or Mörlenbach. We will set off in a small group of no more than 12 participants, starting at the Riesenfass, the largest wine barrel in the world. Afterward, we will breathe in the therapeutic sea breeze at one of the longest open-air inhalation facilities in Germany. We will then continue through the spa park into the city center to the Römerbrunnen fountain. After a lunch break that you can spend as you wish, we will set off on an approximately two-hour hike through the vineyards. As we walk among the almond trees, we will taste two premium wines from an award-winning local winemaker. Afterward, we will take a short hike to the historic Kriemhildenstuhl, a rock formation featuring ancient Roman inscriptions. For the grand finale, we will hike to the “Kaffeemühlchen” (flag tower). There, a hearty Palatinate snack and an exclusive tasting of two organic wines from a renowned winery await you.
