Our company brings you to the heart of the fortress island of Suomenlinna, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the number 1 must-see tourist attraction in Finland with its historical sea fortress and lovely museums and restaurants.
This ticket includes a guided walking tour by an authorized guide. The small group tour in English takes you around the fortress islands, through the centuries, presenting the main sights and the key events in the history of the fortress, offering interesting perspectives on the Finnish history and history of Northern Europe. The duration of the ferry ride is about 20-25 minutes. The duration of the guided tour is about 1 hour. After the tour you can explore the island at your own pace and/or head back to the Market Square with the next ferry. Departure frequency of 30 minutes.
Vessels leave from Helsinki Market Square, "Keisarinluodon laituri"-pier (which is next to the Korkeasaari zoo pier). Look for red FRS Finland signs and flags. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold beer on our sun deck - our friendly staff is at your service.
The museum where the tour starts is right next to the arrival pier at Artillery Bay. You will meet your guide inside the museum. Only our vessels bring you right next to the museum without long walking distances.

This tour will take place rain or shine
Make your way to the Keisariluodonlaituri-pier at Helsinki Market Square. Look for red "FRS Finland" flags and the "Suomenlinna Lonna" text on the pier. Choose the queue for SUOMENLINNA. Please show your ticket to the staff and board the FRS ferry to Suomenlinna. Leave at the first stop at Suomenlinna island and proceed to the museum next to the pier. Present this ticket at the counter. Your guided tour will start inside the museum.
1.5.-30.5.:
On Mondays and Fridays the ferry leaves at 13:00 and the tour starts at 13:30 and on Saturdays you can choose between two times; the ferry leaving at 10:30 and the tour starts at 11:00 OR the ferry leaving at 13:00 and the tour starts at 13:30.
1.6.-31.8.:
Daily tours troughout the day that you can choose from; the ferry leaving at 10:00 and the tour starts at 10:30 OR the ferry leaving at 12:00 and the tour starts at 12:30 OR the ferry leaving at 14:00 and the tour starts at 14:30.
