Discover and explore the main monuments of Nantes in a unique way, where each wall, corner, and façade tells a story and tells us about characters who shaped the history of the city.
We'll go inside the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, visit the cathedral and the Psalette, a 15th-century building, and learn the secrets of the half-timbered mansions of the Rue de Verdun, the Rue de la Juiverie, and the Rue de la Bâclerie. We'll also walk the streets where the well-known writer Jules Verne grew up and visit the church where he was baptized.
You'll learn about the time when the fearsome Jean-Baptiste Carrier was in Nantes, and we'll tour the neighborhood that housed one of his prisons, where we can still see vestiges of that era of terror today.
We'll also visit the interior of the Basilica of Saint-Nicolas, one of the first Neo-Gothic churches in France.
