Chania: Luxury Gulet Cruise to Balos & Gramvousa with Lunch

Begin your day at Kissamos Port as you step aboard Castelo I, a beautifully crafted traditional wooden gulet where maritime heritage meets modern comfort. Settle in, meet your captain and crew, find your favorite spot on deck, and get ready to set sail into the open sea.

As we lift anchor and leave the harbor behind, your journey truly begins. To welcome you on board, the crew serves complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh local cake. Enjoy your breakfast at sea as we sail along the dramatic coastline of the Gramvousa Peninsula, with its rugged cliffs, hidden sea caves, and stunning views.

We then arrive at the breathtaking Balos Lagoon. Often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, you will have approximately two hours to swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters, snorkel, paddle a SUP board or kayak, take unforgettable photos, or simply relax on the famous pink-tinged sand.

Next, we continue to Gramvousa Island, where you will have another two hours to explore. You can hike up to the Venetian Fortress, standing 137 meters above sea level, and enjoy panoramic views of the Cretan Sea, or relax by the shore and swim near the iconic shipwreck.

During this stop, a freshly prepared Mediterranean buffet lunch is served on board. Enjoy grilled chicken souvlaki, Mediterranean pasta salad with feta and olives, seasonal fruits, local bread, water, and soft drinks. For those who wish to celebrate the moment, chilled beers, cocktails, and ice cream are available for purchase at the onboard bar.

As the day draws to a close, settle back on deck and take in the stunning scenery of western Crete during the relaxing return sail to Kissamos.
