Sighnaghi & Wine tour Default

Explore the Kakheti region on a wine tour departing from Tbilisi which includes stops in the charming town of Sighnaghi, a visit to the Bodbe Monastery, and a wine tasting at the renowned KTW Winery.
The tour begins at 09:00 from our office in Tbilisi. Our first stop is the local family bakery in the village of Badiauri. Here, we indulge in freshly baked "Shoti" bread and cheese, while also observing the traditional Georgian oven - Tone - where the "Shoti" bread is expertly crafted.

Next, we venture to St. Nino's convent in Bodbe. This serene monastery complex boasts multiple buildings and a lush garden, offering a splendid view of the Caucasus mountain range.

Continuing our journey, we arrive at Sighnaghi, often referred to as the "town of love." Here, we meander through the charming narrow streets and marvel at the impressive walls of Sighnaghi. As lunchtime approaches, we pause at a local restaurant renowned for its delectable cuisine and picturesque views of the town.

On our return trip, we make a stop at Chailuri castle before embarking on a wine tasting tour at KTW winery. At the winery, we sample six varieties of wine along with a shot of Chacha, a traditional Georgian spirit. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase wines and spirits to take home as souvenirs.

As we savor the last drop from our glasses, we conclude our journey and head back to Tbilisi, ending the tour at our office.
