Snorkeling Trip Gili Trawangan Private Glass Bottom Boat

Begin your adventure by boarding a glass-bottom boat and setting off from the main beach of Gili Trawangan. Enjoy the comfort of the boat as you watch the aquatic world pass beneath you through the clear viewing panels built right into the hull.

Make your first stop at the famous underwater sculpture site located just off the coast of Gili Meno. Created by world-renowned sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, "The Nest" consists of 48 life-sized human figures arranged in a circular formation on the seabed. Look through the glass panel or dive down to get a closer look at how soft corals, sponges, and schools of neon-colored damselfish have made these stone figures their home.

Next, head to Turtle Point, a protected sanctuary for green and hawksbill sea turtles. As the boat approaches, the crew will keep a sharp eye out. Once a turtle is spotted gliding gracefully over the seagrass or rising to the surface for air, slide into the warm water to swim alongside them.

Finally, make your way to the flourishing coral gardens near Gili Air. Here, the ocean floor is covered in intricate structures of staghorn, brain, and table corals. Expect to see everything from bright blue starfish resting on the sand to schools of playful clownfish darting in and out of their anemone hosts.

Around midday, the boat will pull up directly onto the soft white sands of either Gili Meno or Gili Air for a relaxed lunch break. Enjoy roughly an hour and a half to wander around, stretch your legs, and enjoy fresh grilled fish, traditional Indonesian Nasi Goreng (fried rice), or a wood-fired pizza at a local beachfront cafe.
