Conquer Mount Agung at sunrise/sunset! Bali’s highest and sacred peak at 3.142 m. Two routes: Besakih for the ultimate climb or Pasar Agung for a shorter adventure.
Climb Mount Agung, the highest and most sacred volcano in Bali, and enjoy a stunning sunrise above the clouds. Your adventure starts from Sidemen, the closest area to the hiking trail. We include hotel pickup and drop-off, and your guide will take care of everything during the trek.

Mount Agung is known as the most challenging hike in Bali, but the views from the top are truly unforgettable. When the sun rises, you’ll see Mount Rinjani, Mount Batur, Mount Abang, and Bali’s coastline glowing in the morning light.

You can choose between 3 hiking routes:

■BESAKIH TEMPLE ROUTE – The Classic Full Ascent (3.142 masl).
Starting Point: Besakih Temple via Edelweiss (Mother Temple of Bali, start at 1.100 m).
Duration: 6–7 hrs ascent | 5–6 hrs descent.
Difficulty: Very challenging, for fit and experienced hikers.

■PASAR AGUNG TEMPLE ROUTE – Shorter Route But Still Summit (3.142 masl).
Starting Point: Pasar Agung Temple (start at 1.500 m)
Duration: 6–7 hrs ascent | 5–6 hrs descent
Difficulty: Challenging, shorter but steep and demanding, not for beginners.

■PASAR AGUNG TEMPLE ROUTE 2 – Southern Peak Option (2,900 masl)
Starting Point: Pasar Agung Temple (start at 1.500 masl)
Duration: 5–6 hrs ascent | 4–5 hrs descent
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging, shorter climb, suitable for hikers seeking a demanding trek without the full summit.
