Nairobi: 4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Camping Safari

On the first day, we departed from Nairobi and traveled along the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop along the way to take in the views from the stunning viewpoints before arriving at the park in time for lunch.

Then embark on an epic night game drive through lush forested grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is famous for its large herds of black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and almost every type of Kenyan wildlife. After a good night's sleep at camp, prepare yourself for the next day with a picnic-style breakfast. Go on a full-day game drive and visit the Mara River, home to an abundance of animals.
Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy lunch at a viewing platform overlooking the crocodiles and hippos lounging in the river.
Later, you can choose to visit the Maasai Cultural Village to gain an in-depth understanding of the Maasai people’s home and social structure, and how they live in harmony with the environment and animals. On the third day, get up early for breakfast before setting off for Nakuru National Park, with the option to visit the Maasai Village for a fee of US$20 per person, payable directly to Masai Moran. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way and take in the stunning Kenyan scenery around you.

Arrive in Nakuru and if time permits, pass through Naivasha and take a boat trip at your own expense.
Day four begins with a hearty early morning breakfast before exploring Nakuru Park, home to over 350 species of birds, including colorful flamingos.
The park is also home to black and white rhinos and was established to protect these endangered species. After four days of unforgettable experiences, relax and reflect on your journey back to your Nairobi hotel or airport.
