Minca, the ecological capital of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, is located only 13 km from Santa Marta and 700 meters above sea level.
Thanks to its altitude, it offers a perfect setting to enjoy its beautiful waterfalls and five unique natural environments, surrounded by the most varied flora and fauna you can imagine.
From Minca, we will begin our tour in a 4x4 truck, crossing the tropical rainforest and unpaved roads (trocha). In this adventure, we will visit Pozo Azul, one of the most visited attractions; then we will continue to the impressive 30-meter Escondida Waterfall, ideal for torrentismo. We will also visit the Oído del Mundo, a sacred place for the indigenous communities of the highlands, and we will enjoy the Marinka 1 and Marinka 2 waterfalls, both 30 meters high. In each one, we will be able to take a refreshing bath in the crystalline waters coming from the Sierra Nevada. We will finish returning by the same route.
