Ulaanbaatar: 4-Day Nomadic Life Experience with Meals 4 Day Nomadic Life Experience In Northern Mongolian

Experience the real nomads and discover how families live in the vast steppe. This affordable experience offers a genuine glimpse into real nomadic life.
Day 1:
Your journey will begin as you travel by train across the vast Mongolian steppe from Ulaanbaatar to Shaamar soum, accompanied by your native guide. Once in Shaamar soum, you will take a short car ride to the site of your nomadic homestay, just outside of Zuunburen.
Arrive at the ger where you will be staying near Zuunburen and enjoy your first local meal on the Mongolian steppe.
Day 2:
Wake up and eat breakfast. If you are an early riser, you can head out to help milk the cows before breakfast. After breakfast, you will learn to make Mongolian dairy products. Then, we will eat lunch before venturing out on horseback to our winter place. After this, you we return to the ger for dinner, milking cows, then free time for the rest of the evening. Some activities available during free time are talking, walking, and playing games.
Day 3:
Wake up and eat breakfast. If you are an early riser, you can head out to help milk the cows before breakfast. After breakfast, you will make more Mongolian dairy products. Once this is done, you will head by horse to the river to eat Mongolian BBQ for lunch.
After lunch is over, you will explore Saikhnii Hutul, one of the most beautiful locations in Mongolia where you can see the Selenge and Orkhon river basins.
At the end of your adventure, you will get one more bit of Mongolian life as you once again cross the vast steppe by night train to return to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 4:
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the morning.
