Meet your driver outside/beside the Tourist Office in Bergen city centre.

HARDANGER BRIDGE VIEWPOINT
Stop at the spectacular Hardanger Bridge viewpoint. The suspension bridge stretches 1,380 metres across the Hardangerfjord. Photograph the bridge, deep blue fjord and towering mountains.

ALONG THE FAMOUS HARDANGERFJORD
Continue along the Hardangerfjord, one of Norway’s most celebrated fjords.

️ EIDFJORD — WHERE THE FJORD MEETS THE MOUNTAINS
Arrive in Eidfjord, a beautiful community at the head of the fjord. From here, the road climbs through towering cliffs, tunnels and dramatic zigzag roads.

SYSENDAMMEN LAKE — HIGH ON HARDANGERVIDDA PLATEAU
This lake sit among rugged mountain landscapes far above the fjord.

On clear days, glacier-covered mountains can be seen in the distance, with snow and ice contrasting against the vast plateau.

VØRINGSFOSSEN WATERFALL — NOW COMES THE MAIN EVENT
Descend slightly from the higher plateau toward the waterfall area, where Måbødalen opens dramatically below.

Vøringsfossen has a total drop of 182 metres, plunging into the canyon. Its waters are part of the mountain water system above, including the Hardangervidda area.

Stand at the viewpoints, hear the roar, feel the fresh mountain air and watch the powerful water disappear into the deep valley below.

☁️ WALK THE 99-STEP SKY BRIDGE
Then step into the sky.
Cross the spectacular 99-step Sky Bridge above the rushing river and canyon. From the bridge and viewing platforms, enjoy different perspectives of Vøringsfossen and the surrounding mountains.

You are standing high above the landscape, surrounded by open sky.

RETURN JOURNEY TO BERGEN
After your Vøringsfossen experience, relax and enjoy the scenic return journey through the mountains and valleys toward Voss and back to Bergen.
The adventure concludes in Bergen city centre, returning you to the city after a full day exploring the fjords, mountains and waterfalls of Hardanger.
