Cusco : Salkantay Trek 4 Days 3 Nights with return by train

Enjoy this incredible tour where we will visit the Humantay Lagoon, pass through Salkantay, Santa Teresa and finally Machupicchu, observe the incredible landscapes along the way.
Day 1 : Cusco - Soraypampa - Laguna Humantay We will start by picking you up from your hotel and at 5:45 we will head to Mollepata for a 2 hour drive, where we will have breakfast and then continue to Soraypampa where we will meet the muleteers and the horses that will carry our luggage. We will hike uphill to the Humantay lagoon for 2 hours, continue walking downhill for 2 hours and have lunch at our campsite in Quiswarniyoc and have time to explore the area and rest.
Day 2 : Quiswarniyuc - Salkantay Pass - Huayracmachay - Chaullay Camp The second day of the trek is the most difficult as it takes you up to 4630 m and 20 km of walking. The cooks will wake you up around 5:00 a.m. with a cup of hot coca tea, then you will have time to pack up again, and at around 5:45 a.m. we will have breakfast. Then we will start the hike to the highest point of the trek (4630 m) for approximately 3 hours, participate in a small ritual and learn about the mountain gods. We will start descending for 2 hours to the lunch place, then we will continue for 3 hours downhill to the second camp Chaullay (2900 m).
Day 3 : Chaullay - Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes We will wake you up around 6:00 a.m. with a cup of coca tea, then we will offer you a delicious breakfast. Around 7:00 a.m. We will start our hike for 5 hours until we arrive at Sahuayaco beach, where you will take the local transport to Santa Teresa, where you will have lunch, then continue by car for 45 minutes more to Hidroeléctrica where you will take a 2 and a half hour hike to Aguas Calientes where you will rest.
Day 4: Machu Picchu - Cusco After breakfast, you will start walking for 30 minutes to the checkpoint at the Bridge of the Ruins, where you will present your passport and your Machu Picchu tickets. After passing through the first checkpoint, you will walk up all the stairs for one hour to the main gate of Machu Picchu at 6:00 a.m.. At Machu Picchu you will have a 2.5 hour guided tour where you will learn all about the Inca city. After visiting Machu Picchu it is time to return to Cusco.
