Machu Picchu tour by train 2 days

This 2-day train tour is a perfect option to enjoy a pleasant stay and explore the town of Aguas Calientes and enjoy an extraordinary tour of your second day in the sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
On the 2-day Machu Picchu train tour you will have the opportunity to learn more about this wonder. You will take a train trip that will leave you amazed by the very essence of the views of the Andes and the Cusco jungle. Itinerary:

Day 1: Trip from Cusco to Aguas Calientes(Town of Machu Picchu):
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 09:00 hrs. and we will transport you to the Ollantaytambo train station (approximately 2 hour car trip) to take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). On the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, you will also be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Once you arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes, you will have a free afternoon to walk and get to know this small town, perhaps go to the hot springs of Aguas Calientes.
At night the guide will visit you to give more information about the tour to Machu Picchu.

Day 2: Visit the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu - return to city of Cusco:
In the morning at the indicated time according to the tour guide, you will go to the bus station and travel for 30 minutes to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Later you will enter the Inca City of Machu Picchu, the tour guide will begin the tour of the main attractions such as: the guardian enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred plaza, the temple of the condor , the sacred rock and others. On the tour you will have some free time to take photographs and explore the place on your own.
After visiting Machu Picchu, you will board the bus that will return to Aguas Calientes. Later, you will have free time to have lunch in the town (not included).
In the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, once there, the transportation will take you back to the city of Cusco (arrival in Cusco at 08:30 p.m. Approx.).
