Our first stop will be at the fascinating Uros Islands, home to a community that has developed a unique way of life on the waters of the lake. During the visit, you’ll learn about their traditional ways of life, such as fishing and hunting, as well as their relationship with tourism. You’ll be able to explore their famous floating islands and discover first-hand the customs, traditions and way of life of the Uros community.

We will then continue to the beautiful island of Taquile, renowned for its stunning landscapes and outstanding textile tradition. The island is considered one of the most representative sites of Peruvian craftsmanship. Upon arrival, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular views of the lake and admire its traditional stone buildings.

As well as its natural beauty, Taquile preserves important archaeological remains that reflect its history and cultural richness. The visit will also give you the chance to meet its Quechua inhabitants, who are renowned for their kindness and hospitality, making this experience a special encounter with Andean culture.
