From Arequipa: Colca Canyon + Hotel tour of 2D/1N

The Colca Canyon, located in Arequipa, is one of the deepest canyons in the world, with breathtaking scenery and a diverse natural habitat. In addition to its imposing cliffs, the canyon is known for being home to the majestic Andean condor, adding a unique touch to its natural beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arequipa - Chivay

We will start the day by picking you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 8:00 am and head north towards Chivay. On the way, we will make a brief stop at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where you can admire the vicuñas in their natural habitat. A wonderful experience.

We will continue our journey passing by the lagoons and wetlands of Tocrapampa, making a stop at the Mirador de los Andes in Patapampa to enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountain range. We will arrive in Chivay, where you will have an hour and a half of free time to have lunch on your own at a local restaurant. After settling in at the hotel, we will head to the thermal baths of La Calera, where you can relax in this memorable place known for its medicinal properties.

The evening in Chivay is free, and you can choose to enjoy an independent dinner with a folkloric show. We will conclude the day by dropping you off at your hotel in Chivay at 17:00.

Day 2: Chivay - Colca Canyon - Arequipa

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the impressive Colca Canyon. At the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, you will be able to capture breathtaking photos and marvel at the nature of one of the deepest gorges in the world.

We hope to be lucky enough to witness the majestic flight of the condors, a unique spectacle. Before leaving the valley, we will explore the Wayrapunko, Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, offering fascinating perspectives of pre-Inca cultures. Afterwards, we will stop to rest in the picturesque villages of Maca and Yanque.

After the exploration, we will return to Chivay for lunch before heading back to Arequipa. Around 5:00 p.m., you will arrive at your hotel, marking the end of this exciting excursion.
