This gorgeous city combines tradition and modernity in peaceful harmony while providing the gateway to tradition and breathtaking scenery.
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Arequipa at around 1:30 PM to start your visit to the monastery of Santa Catalina, which features four centuries of Arequipa architecture. The intrusive cells, the small streets and cloisters are all full of colorful flowers and walls painted in fresh dyes. The narrow alleys lead to the various parts of the convent that go through picturesque places to stay and sleep, complete with the original furniture. With this enchanted experience you will be truly lost in time.
You will then go to visit the the Jesuit Church of the Company of Jesus at the "Plaza de Armas". This is one of the most beautiful places in Peru, which on its beautiful facade displays the so-called mestizo architecture, and features its distinctive cloisters and dome. Then visit the Tristán del Pozo mansion, before heading to the typical districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara at the end for a magnificent view of both the city and church. You will be back in Arequipa around 6:00 PM.
