If you're staying in Cusco and you'd like to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, you'll love our train to Machu Picchu!
Description
When making your reservation, you will be able to choose the Cusco station from which you wish to start your train journey to Machu Picchu:
Wanchaq Station: 5:10 am, 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm
San Pedro Station: 6:40 and 7:30 am
Poroy Station: 6:40 and 8:25 am
Please note that if you choose to depart from Wanchaq Station, we will take you to Ollantaytambo by bus. From here, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The train ride takes between 3 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours.
You can also choose the type of train you wish to travel on to get to Machu Picchu:
Expedition Train
If you choose the Expedition Train option, you will travel to Aguas Calientes on one of the most spectacular rail routes in the world. Glide through stunning landscapes and admire the incredible views from the train's large windows.
Voyager Train
You are close to living a unique experience on our train, close to nature and the landscapes of the Sacred Valley, without leaving aside the comforts and tranquility that it offers you.
Rainy season
Between January and April, trains from Cusco do not operate regularly. If you want to do this activity during these months, you can book the trip from Ollantaytambo by clicking here.
Limited availability
This activity is carried out on board one of the most popular trains in Peru. Therefore, there is limited availability when purchasing tickets. There may not be availability for the day you want to travel, so we recommend that you make your reservation as far in advance as possible.
Once your reservation is made, we will send you your official train tickets within 72 hours.
