Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado at 16:30 and start the journey to the pier. We will board a boat and, in the late afternoon, the trip will begin. Are you ready to discover the quieter side of the Madre de Dios River?
As we travel down the river, we will watch the sunset over the Amazon rainforest. We will enter the Tambopata National Reserve and the swaying of the boat will relax us as the colors of the sky begin to change.
At nightfall we will approach the banks of the Madre de Dios River. There we will discover species such as the bat, the white caiman and the capybara. Did you know that it is the largest rodent in the world? We will turn off the boat's engine and stop to listen to the night sounds of the jungle, a unique sensation!
After this sunset boat ride, we will return to Puerto Maldonado. We will accompany you to the lodge at 19:30 to conclude the activity.
